I am an Associate Professor within the Kinesiology & Community Health Department in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign. I aim to understand factors that facilitate long-term physical activity behavior and self-regulation across the lifespan from a precision behavioral medicine perspective. The primary targets of our interventions typically focus on increasing physical activity behavior, cardiovascular functioning and cognitive functioning. My research is currently funded by the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute on Children's Health and Development, and UIUC's Center for Social and Behavioral Sciences.
